We tried to canoe from Utah lake into the Jordan River. Unfortunately we ran into some difficulty. When we got to the river we realized we were fenced in. This is a picture just after we escaped from the wrong side of a no tresspassing zone.

We were required to do a little bit of portaging to find the river again.

By that time it was getting dark.

The river although very brown, was very serene. I loved the pelicans that we saw frequently.
